Department for Work and Pensions
The Department for Work and Pensions was formed on the 8th June from parts of the former Department of Social Security and parts of the former Department for Education and Employment. The Department will continue to help with the costs of raising children and with arranging child support maintenance, support people who are looking for work or cannot work and promote financial security in retirement.
