Welcome to the home page of the Policy Action Team on Skills.
Our purpose is to examine the reasons why many people in disadvantaged neighbourhoods have low skill levels, and to make recommendations about how they might be improved. More information on our role is available in About Us.
Following an intensive programme of consultation, research and visits, we have now published our final report (see below). Please note the report, SKILLS FOR NEIGHBOURHOOD RENEWAL: Local Solutions is also available to download. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to the consultation process, particularly via this site.
