Workshops Developing Feedback Mechanisms/Learners' Fora Steve Fountain, North London Learning Partnership Key Issues: Underpinning the discussions in this workshop were three questions: Why are we engaging in consultative arrangements? How can we best understand existing structures and activities that also engage the whole community? How can the feedback mechanisms of Learning Partnerships be integrated into these, rather than re-inventing what is already in operation? Learning Partnerships should decide: what they want consultative mechanisms to achieve how they should make sense of the information how that information can be presented/related to the LSC's role. Other points emerging: What are the questions that need to be answered? How should the informationbe used? How large and detailed should the cosultative mechanism be, and how should that be related to cost? Is this effective use of funding?
