Records of Achievement
Chapter 6 Section 4

6.7 We are already piloting a new approach to the national record of achievement in schools. But adults also need to be able to identify their needs, make plans to meet those needs and monitor their progress. Chapter 2 sets out how we plan to explore ways of linking individual learning accounts and the planning and recording of achievement through smartcard technology. We will also develop a core of material for use by colleges, employers and private publishers, and work with them to produce systems that meet their needs and those of their customers.
